Impressions from the Antwerp Classic 2019

Antwerp Classics 2019 closed its doors this Sunday, and its time to provide a brief summary of impressions. The current themes, the 100th anniversary of Citroen, the 65th anniversary of the Corvette and the 60th anniversary of the Mini provides ample occasion to showcase brilliant classics, but there is lesser focus on decoration and show elements.

The Lambo section featured an impressive set of cars. Unlike in Paris, there was very little show elements just a set of beautiful cars encompassing all eras and categories from LP500 to Murcielago and from tractors to race cars.

The Citroen stage was also quite nice, even if it did not have factory support comparable to the Citroen stage in Paris.

There were quite a few Corvettes, but the largest fleet was brought up by the Mini theme:

the Mini is an icon in the car world, as well as of British pop culture of the 1960s. There were quite a few cars with various body versions.

The rest was a memorable car spotting experience for me, but I imagine that those who came to buy or sell will have an exciting treasure hunt.
