The Christmas rush reached the auto museum world… Autoworld’s new Skoda exhibition is already here, but their jaw-dropping Mazda exhibition could not be visited, due to the Covid confinement.
The Belgian national museum made the right choice: they squeezed some space to accommodate the spectacular Mazda race cars for a few more weeks (with the dozen road cars remaining by the entrance) and opened the main gallery to host the few dozen Škodas.
I know what you are thinking… Škodas, right?! Why should I even bother? Well, Autoworld outdid itself again, bringing together a really fine selection of exhibits.
The selection ranged from race cars from the ‘40s onwards, through a pretty comprehensive overview of its model history up to their current model line-up including Škoda’s latest plugin hybrid model.
The Škoda 125 years – From past to future exhibition was organised in close cooperation with the Škoda Museum in Mlada Boleslav, and features over some forty cars, numerous visuals, archives, videos and as usual, a few dozen scale models.
Egzostive will bring you a comprehensive review of the exhibition in a few weeks, with more on the history of the brand and details on each model. The exhibition was launched only a few days ago and is scheduled to last until 24 January.
