It’s official, the Essen Techno Classica is cancelled for now, and postponed to a new date of 24-28 June.
This year’s Techno Classica was about to start in less than two weeks, and I already saw many reports about cars that would be showcased / auctioned there.
Obviously, these are first world problems next to the tragedy of those who have lost their life due to the Coronavirus epidemic.
Still, this news will prevent even the bravest from unnecessarily arranging the trip. Personally, I defied the odds already by attending Stuttgart, and probably I would have gone to Essen had it took place.
For those who need some refresher what a top class car show looks like I recommend to start with the digital shortcut to my articles on last year’s event.
I am now also updating my calendar, and I surely hope that one of the world’s leading classic car events will take place this year.
