20. Cadillac Optiq Arctiq Concept brings Chinese electric flair to the EU market
The Cadillac Optiq is a battery-electric compact luxury crossover SUV to be marketed under the Cadillac subdivision. However, it stems from its Chinese partner, Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (SAIC).
Unlike the Cadillacs of the past era, the electric drivetrain is more straightforward to configure for the diverse European market, pointing towards a possible return. Back then, GM needed Saab to do that; now they have the Chinese for that. The Arctiq is a demo car showcasing a dedicated white paint and new 18-inch wheels.
