2. Espace F1 is the coolest family van ever
The Espace F1 is a prototype automobile borne out of a collaboration between Matra, Renault and the Williams F1 Team.
The car was unveiled at the Paris Car Show in 1994 for the 10th anniversary of the Espace. The car aimed to foreshadow the general lining of the Espace II, while reaping the benefits of Renault Formula 1 engine success.
The Espace F1 is powered by an RS5 engine from the Williams FW15C race car (the same that Prost drove to the championship in 1993). The 3,500 cm3 engine produces 780 BHP and brings the car to 200 km/h in just 6 seconds. Nevertheless, each engine start requires an oil change and a maintenance from the Williams race team.
For an easier overview, we include the links of all the cars so far at the end of this article.
