The Ferrari 275 GTB/4S NART Spyder
The 275 GTB is one of the coolest Ferraris of all time and our personal favourite as well. Nevertheless, we saw so many 275 GTBs that they would no longer make it to our top lists. But it’s the first drop-top 275 GTB we ever spotted at Kidston’s stage.
The NART Spyder was called to life by Luigi Chinetti, Italian Le Mans ace and later US importer for Ferrari, who founded NART. NART stands for North American Racing Team, the American outlet of Ferrari’s racing efforts.
The NART Spider was an open-top version of a 275 GTB/4 that represented a clear need identified by Chinetti. Only 10 NART Spyders were built with some variations in styling and materials, but each of them is a true spectacle.
