The coolest cars of the Paris Car Show

9. The Alpine A450 Le Mans race car with an Art Car livery designed by Ghass

Iranian-born French designer Ghass ventured to redesign an Alpine A450 race car, entering the footsteps of some truly iconic Art icons, who created liveries for race cars piloted by Art connoisseur and dealer Hervé Poulain.

The story of M Poulain and his stylish race cars we already outlined earlier when covering the Art Car exhibition in Luxembourg and IAA Munich, as well as BMW’s headquarters.

The Alpine A450B is an evolution of the Oreca A3 race car built under LMP2 specifications winning several races in the 2011 season. The livery will not make it faster, but it will render it certainly more exciting. It was not the only Art Car at the show, as an ORA received an Art livery LIVE during the show. But it’s no comparison to this race car.

  1. strange car, strange concept. I would say it’s a Hopium for the masses, but the price tag will most probably be eye-watering
