Autoworld hosts its first auction with Aguttes on Wheels

0

This weekend, Autoworld welcomes the renowned French auction house Aguttes with their ‘Auction & Motion’ sale as a particular highlight to compete with the ongoing luxury bonanza at Zoute. You can see the cars at the museum until Saturday, even if you might not wish to buy a car today. It is an exhibition on its own right.

During this exclusive three-day auction, some 75 vehicles will be up for sale, including quite a few eye candies.

Among them, a red Maserati A6 GCS that participated in the 1949 Rome Grand Prix with the legendary Juan Manuel Fangio will be exhibited and auctioned. In addition, two exceptional Bugattis, the Type 30 Grand Prix and the Type 40 A Grand Sport.

We also loved the white 1921 Mercedes 28/95 PS Targa Florio and the black 1959 Jaguar XK 150  fixed head coupé (FHC).

A collection of 20 rare Mercedes models will also be auctioned (including three modern cars equipped with a V12 engine), along with modern Ferraris and many other exceptional vehicles.

On 4th October, you can still catch the cars at Autoworld before the sale starts. You will also have access to Autoworld’s standing fleet and the current Art Car exhibition. For the planning of their upcoming exhibitions, check out their website.

On October 5th, you will still have the opportunity to attend, and even bid on the car of your dreams. If you can’t make it to Autoworld this week, Aguttes’ catalogue is available online.
