Best of Walter De Silva nr 9: Volkswagen Scirocco

For the sake of fairness, I included a VW on the list. I was unsure about choosing the Scirocco or the Passat CC, my favourites among de Silva’s VW designs.

For my taste, most of De Silva’s VW designs would be outranked by his earlier works due to VW’s bland and simple design language. Hence I selected one of the fancier VW models for this list. I was a bit shocked to learn that he was honoured by exposing the VW UP in their design icons exhibition at Autostadt. It’s their choice, not mine…
