5. The Renault 4EVER Trophy pays hommage to its iconic 4 with a worthy concept
In Paris, Renault unveiled an electric take on its iconic Renault 4, the 4EVER Trophy concept. The car took centre stage, despite other exciting concepts and a few important premieres.
The concept is a lightweight adventurer celebrating the 25th anniversary of the 4L Trophy. If you haven’t heard of it, dot worry: we also had to google it. Though the idea is great: an annual humanitarian rally across the Moroccan desert using Renault 4 cars for a noble cause. The drivers are all students, and the event collects donations to afford stationery for students. Thus the concept is more SUV than a classic Renault 4.
The concept also announces Renault’s future all-electric B segment SUV that will reach markets in 2025 next to one of the brand’s most important models, the Captur. The stakes are indeed high, but so is the entry…
strange car, strange concept. I would say it’s a Hopium for the masses, but the price tag will most probably be eye-watering
