The cars of the Zoute Concours, not featured in anniversary or honouring classes are lined up in pre-war and post-war classes. The pre-war cars are divided into sport and competition classes.

The first one starts with a 1931 Amilcar C6 that won the preservation class.

The second car is a 1927 Bugatti Type 37A, ordered by Hans Kersting (of Bremen, Germany) and entered in the Grand Prix of Germany at the Nürburgring of 1928 and 1929. Accordingly, this Grand Prix car was painted white as the German national racing colour.

The next car is a 1924 Lancia Lambda with a body coachbuilt by Italian specialist Casaro, which was awarded the best Pre-war car of the Concours.

The fourth car shows a clear contrast to the Amilcar, as the 1926 Hispano-Suiza H6B was in a pretty weather-beaten condition. It was a barn find, and the owner intends to keep it in a state close to the original.

The last car in the row is a 1924 Bentley 3 Litre Vanden Plas. This car is the sister car of the Le Mans-winning car driven by Bentley Boys John Duff & Frank Clement.

The competition starts with a white BMW 328,that might not be a full-sized Grand Prix car, but it won more than 100 class wins, including RAC Tourist Trophy, Alpine Rally and Mille Miglia in 1938.

The line-up featured two elegant blue Delahaye 135 models.

One is a 1936 Delahaye 135 S built for the 1936 Le Mans 24 Hours, and the other is a 1936 Delahaye Type 135 S with a Figoni chassis.

The oldest of the line-up is a 1928 Lancia Lambda MM Torpedo, is a genuine factory Mille Miglia car with original chassis, body and engine.

The vehicle is now enjoying its second springtime, it was entered the Mille Miglia of 2019 (the new classic car race). After the MM, the car was driven from Brescia to the Concours at Villa d’Este, Cernobbio and won the FIVA award for the best unrestored pre-war car.

For the ease of loading time, the postwar cars are on featured on the next page.
