IAA Munich – here’s what you should not miss!

The first “post-apocalyptic” international car show is in the highest gear.

We travelled 800kms to see the IAA – was it worth it?

The IAA 2011 follows a brand new concept, so this summary might prove more useful than ever before. When preparing for my trip, I was left totally baffled by the new jargon. Do I need the “Summit”? What is a blue lane?

During the show, I saw annoyed visitors who were not allowed to see the actual show during summit days (as it was reserved for the Summit). Also, our Sat Nav proved to be totally unprepared that the main road to the Expo was closed for the blue lane.

By now, visitors should have full access to the Summit halls and should expect a comprehensive and truly enriching experience.

For those who still would like to visit, these were our essentials.  If all goes well, another article with secret tips will follow shortly. For the ease of visibility, each segment is divided into chapters, accessible under the numbers below.
